The Italo Bosa’s firm is more 30years old. The firm produces artistic ceramics which are hand decorated with precious metals’ finished.There are vases, dishers, lamps and other creation fo the furnishinhs. You can distinguish them particulary for the colours and the design.The bosa’s laboratory, known all over the word, gives to the ceramics something new, which is expressed with a personal language.He knows how to renew the artistic vivacity, without abjuring the tradition, because he begins from the tradition, and he knows how to surpass it searching objects and forms, which accord to this period and the way of life.Accessories for modern enviroinments identifying themselves culturally as well as struc-turally with them, however, at the same time do not loose their personality. Extremely big ashtray as well as enormus fruit bowls or gigantic vases for only one flower; bowls for a great variety of uses and a lamp collection wich should not only be functional but create a cosy atmosphere with its geometrical effects and lights reflexes.Bosa presented objects designed by many artists from all over the world in order to newly interpret ceramic with new expression. It is the purpose of the collection to find a common language for the most interesting expressions actually overlapping, a kind of x-ray of the complex present which, however, does not lack charm.Since the first presentation the collection has aroused a great success and has been chosen to many publications in Italy and abroad.

HAYONSTUDIO - Jaime Hayon

Spanish artist / designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid 1974. He trained as an indu-strial designer in Madrid and Paris. In 1997, he began working as a researcher in Fabrica, Benetton Group’s communication research center in Treviso, Italy. A year later, he was appointed, by Mr. Luciano Benetton and communication guru Oliviero Toscani, head of the design department, where he oversaw the development of interiors for shops, exhibitions and restaurants as well as books, magazines and logo designs. In 2004, he began his individual career and has kept his hands full with eclectic projects. From toys, to furniture and interior design as well as artistic installations, his boldness has been transcending the borders of the often separated worlds of art and design, merging his own style with ease between the two. Hayon bathroom collection, AQHayon, for Artquitect Launched in 2005, caused a tre-mor in the bathroom industry and design community and placed him on the forefront of the design tendencies. Being a multifaceted creator, Jaime’s work has developed in diverse areas: from curato-rial roles, to those of an artist, to that of a designer. As an artist, his exclusive furniture design work was first brought to life at London’s David Gill Gallery, where his “Mediterranean Digital Baroque” exhibit has enormous success. His work has also been shown at the Vitra design Museum and the Design Museum in London, where the bathroom collection was recently exhibited in the “tank” as the lead tendency representing European design. Mon Cirque, his storytelling installa-tion has been presented in Barcelona, Minneapolis, Lisbon, Paris and Cologne. His most recent exhibit “Stage” shown at the Aram Gallery, London, portrays different scenarios of his most relevant work in past years. Currently with a new base in Barcelona, Hayón has been awarded by Wallpaper as one of the 10 breakthrough creators worldwide as well as the 2006 Elle Deco International Award and the Icon Magazine Best Show award for the 2006 London design week. Clients such as Benetton, Metalarte, Artquitect Edition, Coca-Cola, Danone Group, bd ediciones de diseño, Adidas, Pallucco, Piper Hiedsieck and Camper work with Hayon-studio.
