ried for the second time Henry Ward Beecher performed the marriage ceremony Huntingtons first wife had been dead less than a year and he de sired the second marriage to be kept a secret until his return from Europe He gave Mr Beecher a marriage fee of 51500 When Huntington returned some months later he went through a public ceremony and Beecher again officiated He gave Beecher another fee of
