MSU RACKING UP THE MILES IN FEBRUARY ► Mississippi State heads to Baton Rouge Thursday coming off a 65-55 road win at Arkansas on Sunday. The Bulldogs will be racking up the miles in February, playing 4 of their final 7 SEC games away from Humphrey Coliseum.

DAWGS LOOK TO WIN NO. 20 ► A win in Baton Rouge would not only keep Mississippi State in 2nd place in the SEC standings, but it would also be the 20th victory of the season for Vic Schaefer's squad.

► State can be the 1st in program history to win 20 games in 3-straight seasons. ► MSU set school records for overall (27) and SEC (11) wins last season.

LOOKING AT THE LSU SERIES ► Mississippi State looks to claim its 2nd win ever in Baton Rouge, with the lone victory coming in 2009 (38-36, 1/22/09).

► MSU seeks to snap a 9-game LSU win streak. The Lady Tigers won last sea-son's meeting in Starkville 71-69 in double overtime.

STATE STELLAR UNDER SCHAEFER ► Schaefer's 81 wins are 3rd in MSU history. ► Of SEC coaches through the 1st 4 years at their current schools, his 81 wins are 5th most while his .659 winning percentage is 3rd.

► His 27 SEC wins are 2nd in program records. ► He joins Nikki Fargas (LSU), Holly Warlick (Tennessee) and Melanie Balcomb (Vanderbilt) as the only SEC coaches to claim 2 20-win seasons in the first 3 years at their current schools.

MSU STRINGING TOGETHER THE W'S ► MSU is 46-11 overall the last 2 years, an SEC 2nd-best .807 winning percentage. ► Since 2013-14, MSU is an SEC 5th-best 68-25 (.731) after going 61-63 the previous 4 seasons.

► The Bulldogs are 17-8 in SEC play the last 2 seasons, the best 2-year mark in program history.

► Senior Sherise Williams has been part of 81 wins in her career, 3 away from matching the 2003 class that won a program-best 84 games. The junior class can better that mark as well.

► Vic Schaefer has helped lead the program to a 610-600 all-time record, the first time the program has been over .500.
