Surgical Protocol

BTLock propose two different options as surgical protocol for implant insertion: traditional, by drills; by expanders.Traditional protocol, as described in the image, may require the use of different kind of drills (pilot, twist, conical for each diameter, neck drill) and of threadformers. BT-Tite Active line fixtures are self-threading and may require the use of neck drills and/or threadformers only in case of hard bone. All drill features laser markers and colour code to make easier the use and selection during the surgical stage.

The Bt-Tite Active dental implants line features the patented BTLock connection (twice anti-rotational, asymmetric, multi-levelled and internal), which assures impermeability to bacteria infiltrations and duration through time.The body of the implant is characterized by the longitudinal grooves, which make the insertion into the osteotomic site easier and help to download tensive forces, gas, liquids and bone residues that are created during the screwing. To continue this deep thread, on the periodontal collar there are the micro-crestal grooves. Then, the terminal side of the collar (0.3mm) is machine-cut, in order not to interfere in the matching side between fixture and abutment.The DMA surface, obtained from physical-mechanical treatments (sandblasting by material at controlled granulometry) and chemical treatments (double acid-etching and passivation at controlled lengths) makes the surface nanoporous and, together with the deep thread, allows a better osseointegration.The combination of the aggressive design of the fixture and the highly osseointegrating surface optimizes primary stability, creating a device that is precise, performing and cutting edge, the recommended choice in case of immediate load and post-extraction sites even in less dense bone.

The thing that from the beginning identifies implantology signed BTLock is the invention and development of a new concept of implant connection: triangular, twice anti-rotational, internal and asymmetric on three different levels. The international patent makes it unique.BTLock System has four major points of strength, which allowed to solve two problems: the tightening of the connection and the duration of the prosthetic work.The design, with triangular shape with rounded corners, gives precision and stability.The depth of the connection (2,96mm) improves tightening and optimize the distribution of chewing forces, so the micro-movements are reduced to the minimum for a high mechanical stability.The conical bevel on the fixture with counter-shape on the Abutment allows a perfect matching between fixture and abutment, without exceeding profiles or gaps. This high precision avoids any fluid infiltration and keeps the peri-implant sulcus free of inflammation.The processing technique, milled with the lathe, unlike the matrix technique is more precise and does not create stress that could be damaging.For these reasons, the BTLock implant connection system is original, innovative and effective, so as to become our image, our brand, our logo.

BT-Tite Active is available in 4 different diameters (3,30mm, 3,75mm, 4,50mm, 5,50mm) and 5 different lengths (8mm, 10mm, 11,5mm, 13mm, 16mm) plus short mesures for 3,75mm, 4,40mm and 5,50 mm for a total of 26 size options.Fixture body and crestal micro grooves are featured by DMA surface treatment, twice acid-etched. Terminal side of the periodontal collar (0,3mm) is machine-cut. Periodontal collar is 0,2mm larger than the body of the implant and may require the use of neck drill to prepare the implant surgical site. Each single implant is sold complete of mounting tool and surgical screw.Please note: At the end of insertion, the concavity of the implant carrier must be leading to vestibular direction.Please note: short measures (5,5mm and 6,5mm lenghts) are not available for the USA.
