Butterfield Online for companies and institutions

Our service has been adapted specifically for those who have multiple accounts with us. As an authorised administrator, you are able to access all your clients’ accounts under your personal ID and password. Institutional clients that hold multiple client accounts with Butterfield in Guernsey can similarly access all accounts under your personal ID.

After the initial setup of a user, management of the online banking services is under yourcontroltomeettherequirementsofyourbusiness.Thisenablesyoutoassignaccess to various users at the appropriate security levels at your convenience. You will alsobeabletochangethepermissionlevelsasandwhenyourequire.

A further advantage is that you can also provide ‘view only’ access to the ultimate client ifsorequired.

The same set up can also be arranged for our online custody system allowing you to view multiple portfolios under your personal ID and password.

Our online custody service

Butterfield Online Custody provides you with the ability to access your portfolios. It is aseparatesystemfromButterfieldOnlineandrequiresaseparatelogin.

Utilising this facility, you can view and export information to provide you with:

Butterfield Online Custody can also provide you with an accurate update on your investment portfolio.

Our security

Butterfield Online banking and custody systems provide a safe, user-friendly environment to enable you to remain in control of your financial arrangements.

Our banking system includes new security features, which makes the set up of payments more secure. A telephone call back system is used to allow you to verify new payments set up from your accounts.

For our institutional and corporate users, our security enables control of appropriate levels of authority to be set up by the assigned account administrators in your business. Butterfield Online also provides dual control functionality over banking instructionstoallowauthorisationasrequired.

Security is important to us. Butterfield protects sensitive information using security software and protocols. We encrypt data during transition using SSL encryption.
