BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND
Nowadays, plastic waste is becoming a big problem and even be more seriously for environmental continuing, especially for soil quality. Recycling is a strategy that can be done to solve this problem. Not all kind of plastics can be recycled, and every kind of plastics have its own processing method. All issues related to managing solid waste must be addressed using a holistic approach. Therefore, an integrated plastics waste management are needed, which is all element related to the system had to participated active. This recommended plastic waste management system is an integrated management system using totalergonomics approach. Totalergonomics are integration between microergonomics and macroergonomics.
BACKGROUNDBACKGROUND
This framework usability is a part of a complex process optimizing the three-way fit between people, technology, and organization. This research present an Integrated Plastic Waste Management System, an integrated management system which is organized into five major perspectives such as functional activities, problems and constraints, technological options (crusher plastic machine), stakeholder, ergonomics facilities, and optimalization the temporary dump site (TPS) function as 2nd place after household for the next processing plastic waste. The second result of this research is a strategic approach to increasing the public careness using some media such as poster about how to disposing plastic waste, waste categorizing, and to processing.
