Introduction

• In the past years Rugby Borough Council has taken measures in cutting down on wasted energy.

• Meter readings were taken manually and given to the energy supplier. This contributed to bill validation and eliminated estimated billing.

• False billing has been eliminated by identifying redundant and non existent meters.

• New supplier contracts have been set up for suppliers to provide actual readings rather than estimated readings.

• Significant reduction in billing is seen in slides to follow
