Name: Amir MaghamiCurrent Employer: Simatech Shipping LLC Job Title: Managing Director

Amir Maghami works in a amily business and realisedthe things he had learnt in his undergraduate degreehad very little relevance to his work or to the realitieso a business environment. He wanted to broaden hishorizons and work on his management skills.

Being able to integrate core business unctiontheories to what I do everyday was the primary reasonin deciding to do a Cass EMBA. Apart rom a better understanding o the core unctions o a business such as corporate accounting, marketing and corporate

governance the main advantage o doing an EMBA isthe ability to look at the world around me di erently andsee things in a much more strategic manner. I choseCass because I knew o it and its good reputation.

The Cass EMBA has been truly use ul and bene cial

to me. I learned something rom every module andhave been able to improve my own business based onmy newly acquired knowledge. The relevance to thebusiness world in general has been extremely use ul.
