Choice basedCurriculumCEPT University has adopted choicebased curriculum that gives studentsthe flexibility to choose courses
across different faculties. This allowsstudents to chart their own pathduring the course of their study at
CEPT University. It gives them greaterfreedom and choice while selectingcourses.
Any program of a faculty specifiesonly 75% of the credits by offering
mandatory courses. A student is freeto pick remaining 25% credits fromany faculty of CEPT University in the
form of elective courses.
A mandatory course of one program
can be taken as elective by studentof other programs. This also allowsfor faculty integration and ensures a
multidisciplinary mix in a classroom.
Common Calendar
and Time TableAll programs follow a common annualcalendar and timetable to facilitate
students from one to attend coursesin other faculties. By following thesame framework of timetable and
annual calendar seamless integration
of all the faculties is now possible.
Integration ofPostgraduate
ProgramsThe postgraduate programs offering
different specialization in the samefaculty are now integrated as onelarge program, wherein students are
encouraged to develop specializationof their choice by combination
of major and minor courses fromvarious Areas.
This system offers students greaterchoice and also allows them to
make various combinations ofspecializations.
Common CourseTypologyAny course offered in CEPT Universityfollows either of the listed typologyand adheres to conditions of the
same. Things like contact hours,
teaching style and nature of studentengagement is governed by course
typology.
This is important so that students
know beforehand what kind ofteaching environment to expectwhile registering for a course in other
programs.
