Chimpanzees communities They live in
communities that consist of families.
Chimps are led by the male leader called an Alpha.
Females can move freely but cannot move near another community or conflict occurs.

Population & Life Span
1) 100,000 to 200,000 chips live in the wild today.
2) Chips in a habitat live up to around 60 years old.
3) Chips in wild can live up to 50.

BirthA. A mother gives birth to
one baby at a time.B. The mother normally
produces an off spring every 4 to 5 years in the wild.
C. The baby stays with its mother up to at least ten years.

Foods
Chimps are omnivores. They eat fruits, nuts, insects, and
seeds. Sometimes they eat some meat

Jane Goodall Institute
Founded in 1977 Goal was to help and get
close with the Chimpanzees
Jane documents and teaches the world about the Chimps
Jane helps save the Chimps from getting sold on the black market and is trying to help make them no longer endangered

The movie Chimpanzees come out April 20th. For the first week every ticket sold Disney nature will make a donation that will go to the Jane Goodall Institute.
