One of the most anticipated days for children, as in Spain and many Latin American countries is the feast of the twelfth night for their majesties to make the delivery of gifts to children.

Roscón de Reyes:

Is a typical dessert of Spain in twelfth night. It consists of a wheel-shaped cake, decorated with pieces of candied or crystallized fruits. Roscón consumption occurs on January 6th, the day of the Adoration of the Magi, the date traditionally made  Christmas gift exchanges.

Christmas Day

One of the most important festivals of Christianity, which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. 

In December 25 by the Catholic Church, the Anglican Church some other Protestant churches and the Romanian Orthodox Church, and on January 7 in other Orthodox churches because they do not accept the reforms made  to the Julian calendar, to pass our current calendar, called the Gregorian, the name of reform, Pope Gregory XIII.

Anglophones use the term Christmas, which means 'mass (mass) of Christ'. In some Germanic languages  such as German, the party called Weihnachten, which means. 'blessed night'. The Christmas holidays are proposed, as its name suggests, celebrate the Nativity (the birth) of Jesus of Nazareth.

NEW YEAR’S EVE

New Year's Eve as it is called in Spain, or in some Spanish-speaking countries, is the last night of the year in the Gregorian calendar, ranging from December 31 until January 1st (New Year's Day).

In Spain it is tradition to eat 12 grapes at the bell announcing the new year.
