Tech Automobile EngineeringThe objective of Automobile Engineering is to develop and understand the principles of conversion in design, construction and working of mechanical systems and electronic systems in automobiles. The aim is to produce graduates with a broad understanding of all contextualized elements related to the electronic environment. Graduates will be equipped to solve multi-disciplinary problems and will be part of future developments in industries. It is anticipated that graduates from the course will play a major/lead role in design, management and coordination of multi-disciplinary projects.

The scope of this program is to impart knowledge on the basics of automobiles, understanding of mechanical analysis and design combined with the advancement of sensor and microcontroller technology as well as standardization of communication protocol. M. Tech Civil/Structural EngineeringThe main objective of the program is to focus on various construction techniques and recent trends in construction with a solid Civil Engineering foundation. It also emphasizes management techniques which is useful in planning and construction activities. The program will help the students to plan, analyse, design, construct, maintain and manage Civil Engineering systems. It also increases the students’ understanding of the complete construction industry, technical management & leadership aspects of professional construction management. The curriculum includes subjects such as construction planning scheduling and control, project formulation and appraisal, shoring, sca�olding and formwork, quantitative techniques in management, construction project management, project safety management, advanced construction techniques and contract laws & regulation.

Quali�ed students with knowledge of Construction Management can get placed as planning engineers, quality control engineers and project managers in numerous government departments like Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Railways, Metro Rail, Highways, Indian Aluminium Limited (IAL), Public Works Department (PWD), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Pollution Control Board, National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Water Supply and Drainage Board (WAD) etc. Opportunities are also available in private sectors as a design engineer, site engineer and planning engineer.

M. Tech VLSIThe VLSI and Embedded Systems M Tech program will cover the fundamentals and engineering aspect of designing and developing IC based systems. Traditionally VLSI technology has emerged out as a successful conglomeration of two streams: material science and electrical engineering. The state of the art VLSI technology requires research in physical devices as well as novel design and development of electrical circuit. The program will focus on developing hands-on skill of designing semiconductor devices and circuits, architecting systems using embedded components such as, CPU, memory and peripherals. Students will be trained in several topics that cut across di�erent domain, starting from lowermost level of physical devices to the top level of application development.

HostelWell-maintained hostels are available for both boys and girls. Situated in a calm and serene atmosphere, the hostels provide a homely environment to students to concentrate in their studies. The mess facilities are being checked by members of the faculty and care is taken to provide wholesome, delicious non vegetarian and vegetarian food to the students.
