24th ANNUAL NEW YEAR’S MEDITATION, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31 , 10:35PM– CHAPEL: After the champagne toast on New Year’s Eve, come join us for a New Year’s Eve watch service in the Walker Interfaith Chapel from 10:35PM - 11:05PM. There will be musical selections, interfaith readings, and quiet time for reflection. Residents and Staff may stay for the whole period or drop in for a few minutes at any time. ALL are invited and welcome.

So I'm spreading the word for all the cats (4 legs only) at Collington: The Country Store has cat food! And for our two legged customers there's a limited supply of Raspberry Sorbet. A MESSAGE FROM THE COLLINGTON SINGERS: Love to Sing? The Collington Singers are starting a new season to prepare for the spring concert. Collington resident Marilyn Haskel, the new director, will be leading rehearsals every Monday at 4PM beginning January 9th in the auditorium. There will be plenty of fun and challenging music to enjoy. Marilyn has a Master’s Degree in choral conducting and has led amateur and professional singers. Come join us - you'll be glad you did. Damrau makes her role debut as Juliette in Bartlett Sher’s new production, conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. Elliot Madore sings Mercutio and Mikhail Petrenko sings Frère Laurent. Sher’s staging is a La Scala production, initially presented by the Salzburg Festival, where it premiered in 2008.
