  • ROOM KEA NEWS:

Weka Room used the Cross Country to create some nar-

    rative stories.

Last Thursday Waikari School and I went to run the cross Country at Scargill Domain. When the race started, I was running really fast and I didn’t look where I was going. I got lost. I felt sad and worried. Suddenly another racer went past me. I thought to my-self, follow that child. I followed her all the way to the finish line. I felt happy because I wasn’t lost anymore. Nico, James, Maddison, Skyla, Baylee - Shared Group writing Last Thursday afternoon Waikari School went to race in cross country at Scargill Domain. The race was going really well but then I couldn’t see the track anymore. I felt nervous “Help I’m lost.” I shouted. I cried. Suddenly I saw the other racers in the distance, I sped up and I was tied with some of them. Everyone was cheer-ing for me and I beat everyone. I felt proud. Tom - Guided writing
