Step into a Kubota excavator and it’s easy to see why it earned the title of #1 selling compact excavator in the world*. Six heating and cooling vents and an easy-open front window provide the kind of comfort that keeps operators in the cab and getting the work done. Minimum tail swing, industry-leading bucket breakout force and an optional quick coupler are just some of the additional features that give the Kubota compact excavator such a huge reputation.

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) Mountain Valley Pipeline develop-ers have submitted a request to extend the natural gaspipeline project into North Carolina. The Roanoke Times reported the application filed Nov. 6
asks for a 73-mi. extension for the 300-mi. pipeline that isbeing constructed in West Virginia and Virginia. MountainValley proposed the $468 million project called MVPSouthgate in April. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission application
said the project would start at the current project’s endpointin Pittsylvania County, Va. It would run to Alamance County,N.C., and provide gas to local distribution company PSNCEnergy.Opponents fear environmental damage, object to the
pipeline’s use of eminent domain to obtain private land andquestion if the pipeline is needed. Mountain Valley says ithopes to start construction on the new project in 2020.
