CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

5-inch StackerAll 5” squares are used in Border 2

Blue FriendsCut 1 rectangle 41½ ” tall x 32½” wide

Slate and Tangerine ShadeCut 2 squares 5” x 5” from slate shade for Border 2Cut 2 squares 5” x 5” from tangerine shade for Border 2

Snow White ShadeCut 4 strips 21/2” x WOF for Border 1Cut 6 strips 21/2” x WOF for Border 3

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to the quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 36½”. Top and bottom borders should be 41½”.

Border 2Refer to the quilt photo for piece placement. Sew 10 assorted print 5” squares together to create the right side border. Repeat to create the left side border. Sew the right and left side borders to the quilt center.

Sew 10 assorted print 5” squares together to create the top border. Repeat to create the bottom border. Sew the top and bottom borders to the quilt center.

Border 3Side borders should be 54½”. Top and bottom borders should be 49½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the In The Ocean Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
