One-line pitch:

Expansion of digital literacy training and expansion of rural voice/data/streaming video carrier-neutral

infrastructure.

Company summaryRural Broadband Company, Inc., originates, organizes, develops and provides funding solutions for projects concerning expansion of computer, tablet, and smartphone user adoption rates through digital literacy training and the expansion of carrier-neural voice/data/ streaming video infrastructure in rural areas of the United States.

Southern Tier Region Rural Broadband Company, Inc., (STRRBC), a New York for-profit C corporation, is a subsidiary of Rural Broadband Company, Inc.

STRRBC, by its Issuer and Company President, Tony Ramos, has filed its Form Regulation D under amended Rule 506 of the Securities and Exchange Commission, effective September 23, 2013.

The name of the STRRBC project area is: Southern Tier Region Rural Digital Literacy & Technology Alliance.

The urRondout PCC project is a sector of the project area. The sector covers the Rondout Reservoir area in Sullivan County, New York. The acronym ‘PCC’ refers to ‘Public Computer Center,’ and is also synonymous with the term ‘Digital Literacy Commons.’

Our Team

Please see our team on the ‘management’ section of this campaign.

In addition, please visit the company website: www.urbroadband.com for more information.

Problem to be Solved

Greatly expand the numbers of users of laptops, tablets and smartphones, and provide a modern, current-technology voice/data/streaming video carrier-neutral infrastructure in rural areas.

Greatly expand digital literacy training to members of the community, so that they may be able to access eGovernment services, library resources, job training, distance learning, eCommerce, and for all other uses in a modern society.

Make sure that the project area generates revenue so as to show a profit for investors.

Competitors

We are the only for-profit company that is addressing this sector on a national scale and thus, we have no actual competitors.

That said, until such time as the infrastructure is built out, the existing providers may view us as competitors because of their existing infrastructure. Our consultants advise us, however, that the result is that the providers, both existing and new entries, immediately begin using the new infrastructure, including by switching their customers onto the system. Thus, revenue generation begins immediately.

Target Market

The target market consists of all business-to-business voice/data/streaming video providers in the area, as well as any newcomers.

The sub-market consists of end users, that is, businesses and residents, who will be targeted by our company's marketing professionals as well as by the providers.

An additional market consists of ancillary infrastructure customers who need more secure private signal capacity, or more media reach.

Customers

The systems as built out are for providers of voice/data/ streaming video, as well as for radio and also private companies who need a more secure and higher speed data/ streaming video connection.

The provider customer base is a total replacement market across the entire project areas, since this is a project that replaces outdated technology.

In addition, the customer base will include the remaining areas where there is none or very weak signal.

Business Model

Post-build, revenue stream comes from the company’s revenue based upon user fees from providers and other users utilizing the system.

This opportunity is organized for a very lucrative long-term stream of income project.

In most instances, the infrastructure becomes a 40-year asset, with depreciation and expansion to other co-location regions.

Competitive Advantage

Our solution is unique because we are not providers of any voice/data/streaming video services.

Thus, we are not restricted by our shareholders in building a carrier-neutral infrastructure which, once built, all providers will use.
