WHAT’S NEW!Destination Antibes Juan-les-Pins: a new convention centre for 500 guests, on 14,000 sq meters, a new  theatre hall for 1300 spectators, a new sports center with a capacity of over 5,000 persons… Six hotels already reclassifi ed in the 5 stars category and still more investments and brand arriving such as Marrio . Cannes has the fi rst European Convention Centre with triple ISO certifi cation (Quality - Health & Safety - Environment): the famous Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Nice, a Green City: Development of Eco-Valley – several phases 2010/2015 - cultural facility, a centre for education and research dedicated to sustainable business development and ecology, a great stadium and an exhibition centre of 60,000 sqm. Acropolis Congress centre - Nice-Acropolis has been innovating with waste management, recycling bins and light-emi ing diodes (LED). Air France: 4 new destinations Athens, Naples, Venice, Tel Aviv. Lot Polish: Nice-Warsaw daily fl ight since March 25th. EasyJet : 3 new destinations from April, Barcelona, Naples and Venice.

Hotels In 2012, a er completion of all public space renovation, the Hotel Ambassadeur in Juan-les-Pins will be re-branded an AC Hotel by Marrio . In 2013, Lagon Hotel in the heart of Marineland Sea park, Antibes Juan-les-Pins. A 3-star Hotel featuring 100 rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and spa. In 2014, a new Intercontinental Carlton in Cannes: extension, modernization and complete renovation. In Cannes, the hotel facilities are renewed. Several establishments were recently renewed (Apartment hotel, Hotel and Spa Montaigne, Golden Tulip Cannes). A new hotel in Le Cannet, Park & Suites Elegance, 66 suites, a gastronomic restaurant, 2 meeting rooms. Hotel Massena in Nice a new look: everything has been renovated from the bedrooms and bathrooms, the lobby, bar, hallways, stairwells, conference rooms and breakfast... Le Négresco in Nice: a new interior & technology for its 260 m² business area overlooking the sea. The Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat was awarded "Best Palace in the World" on January 11th 2012, by the prestigious magazine Hotel & Lodge. Chateau Saint Martin & Spa in Vence : most notably, no fewer than two spaces have been entirely redesigned and renovated. In 2013, a new residence 4* with 115 apartments located on the golf course Claux Amic in Grasse.

Venues The exceptional venue La Rotonde of Beaulieu-sur-Mer: a renaissance that was expected. Meeting industry is taking a cultural turn. Two new museums have been created in the Côte d’Azur: the Bonnard Museum in Le Cannet and the Cocteau Museum in Menton. La Villa Archange in Le Cannet was awarded two stars in one go for his gourmet restaurant. The Domaine de Toasc over the hills of Nice welcome groups for seminars and incentive.

In 2008 both Provence and French Riviera Tourist Boards and local authorities decided to set up a Regional Convention Bureau called "Provence Côte d’Azur Events".In 2011, it is a professional network of more than 90 members on the meeting industry with more than 2,000 employees. It is a non-profi t association entrusted with promotion, marketing and business networking for the Provence Alps Côte d’Azur destination at the international level.

“Provence Côte d’Azur Events” is the best way to reach the right suppliers and partners in order to organize a successful event in the south east of France.

Missions Promotion of the destination Provide technical & fi nancial assistance to be present on EIBTM and IMEX annual international tradeshows. Organize tailor-made business workshops to meet the members’ expectations, in France and Europe.

Assistance in event management Complimentary guidance to facilities, partners and providers. Help to fi nd local decision-makers and supports in the bidding procedures. Logistic assistance to the six major regional technological clusters in preparing their tradeshow a endance. Be an actor, a facilitator for the creation of new events in order to boost the local economy.

Marketing development Search for international association meetings related to the activities of academic and industrial clusters located in the area. Provide updated analysis of the meeting industry to the members (ie. markets and major competitors’ watch). Enhance them to meet the organizers’ requirements for "green events" through education programs, local and/or European fi nancial grants.
