Culminating Assessment:

Completion of a keyboarding simulation. The simulation could be found in the keyboarding text or use a computer, Mean Jeans. The students would be creating documents that would use the keyboarding skills developed throughout the semester. It would test their ability to differentiate between the types of documents presented within the course of keyboarding. Examples would include, memo, letters, reports, and envelopes.

The students would be assessed by their completion of the simulation in a time frame established by the instructor. Also the teacher would have the option as to how to assess a grade on the completed documents and time spent on the assignment.
