Pune: CybageKhushboo recently kick-started its Annual Scholarship Program for the year 2017-2018 at the Cybage headquarters. Scholarships were distributed in three phases—on August 9, September 3, and October 8, 2017. CybageKhushboo received an overwhelming 501 applications, and after careful consideration, 53 beneficiaries received scholarships this year. The idea behind this initiative is to benefit more deserving underprivileged students and reach out to more economically challenged families. Mrs. Ritu Nathani, Managing Trustee, CybageKhushboo, commenced the event by informing the students about the rules pertaining to the scholarship. Mrs. Nathani and the volunteers distributed cheques worth a total Rs. 21,36,482 to these beneficiaries, who are pursuing courses in Engineering, BBA, BCS, B.Pharm, Bachelors in Digital Art and Animation, among others. The beneficiaries promised that they would excel in their studies and live up to the expectations of CybageKhushboo. One beneficiary added that upon attaining stability, he will sponsor students like him. A beneficiary from a previous batch, Pratik Joshi, who is currently pursuing MCS from Pune University, encouraged the students to attend the sessions organized by CybageKhushboo for their educational and professional development. Also present at the event were former beneficiaries—Nutan Sali, who is placed as a Product Engineer in Cummins, and Vishal Ghorpade, who works with Vodafone. Mrs. Nathani concluded the event and explained to the students that with the financial constraints out of their way, they should now focus on making a mark in their chosen fields.
