Technical InfoStations can be Windows 95, 98, ME, NT or 2000

Single user, Workgroup, Windows 2000 or Novel

Magic’s eDeveloper

Pervasive SQL2000i

Possible on Oracle, IBM, Unix, VAX, MS-SQL, Cache and more

Underlying powerful C-engine => “key-less” highly robust system

Millions of records on low-end servers

Simple to maintain

Lends itself to customizations

Automatic conversions upon software updates

Powerful user rights

Pre-designed for distributed companies, including multi-nationals

Commercial Info

Fixed quotations => Clients seek optimal solutions, not safeguard budgets

Low per-user costs => comprehensive implementation (advantage to size)

Low-cost on-site full-time implementers

Complete customizations at affordable or no costs

Fixed annual fees for support and sub-version upgrades

Dansoft

Long-runner, innovative, leading technology, client focused

Hundreds of clients, including leading flower producers

Dedicated staff, IT and agriculturists

Holland a key strategic market as of 2002

Encouraging cooperation (multi-nationals, process control, DLV)

Agro-business first installations - 1990

Dansoft – focused on its clients

User Friendly

Natural flow of work order, right from when setting the system

Everywhere, F1 pops up “local” specific help on the current screen

Tool-tips on rarely used parameters

Zoom to constants available throughout the system, <Enter> to select

DCMS is available in Dutch and other languages, even on same station

Setup guides through topics, some not considered before using DCMS

Setup embodies a wealth of knowledge, used daily by user and system

Data coding enables rapid manual data entry

Data automation automates data entry

Numerous data-input controls

A seamless tightly integrated system – learn one know them all

Creating reports is most simple while most powerful

InterfacesHQ auto-consolidation => ideal for a distributed companies

EDI in-between remote Dansoft sites on POP, Stores, SOP, Sales and JV’s

Any report easily read into spread sheet and other software

DCMS includes accounts. If required can integrate with external system.

DCMS includes payroll. If required can integrate with external system.

Can read 3rd-party sales results info (also custom interfaces)

Can read process control info, e.g.– fertigation, (also custom interfaces)

DCMS WRS (Web Reports Server) enables powerful reports over the web

Swipe card readers (work-clocks)

Fertilizers Can be applied through the irrigation network or through other means. DCMS will combine fertigation records with material application records with field maps and other constants to provide comprehensive agro-technical, stock or costing analysis

TargetsMaterials are usually chemicals but also hormones, biological warfare insects or organisms. Targets are what materials are applied for/against. For Botrytis a list of materials is applicable, for example material 4047 (Euparen W.P 50) at a nominal application rate of 2cc/lt. For various crops one may use different application rates.

WaterBy entering water sample results, the system will combine water properties with fertilizer properties to provide precise chemical elements analysis down to single plant level. It is possible to manage different water sources by all professional and financial properties.

Rows

Data automation allows rapid precise definition of crops by individual bed. Breeders and propagators can go down to single plant level.

Greenhouse Map

A sample rose greenhouse with a main path in the middle. Unlike a drawing from an engineering design software, DCMS draws maps from basic data records. While the maps are important in their own sake and for verification of base data records, all calculations are done by those base records – the secret factor allowing DCMS the phenomenally accurate analysis.

Map options

Precision management requires numerous details. The system transforms that into useful managerial information, also through maps.

The ability to pinpoint specific plants by long-term and average behavior is key to selecting the better from the weaker. The R&D selection parameters are virtually limitless.

Data entry controls and auto-calculations based on constants

Data automation features

The rich constants enable simple, quick and well-controlled daily entries

MA is integrated with pest monitoring, fertigation, climate, yields, costs, stores, payroll, machinery, fuel control, labor and

other areas of DCMS. All in a way almost transparent to the user, who feels nothing when entering data and running reports.

MA 5 - Dutch

DCMS is a true multi-lingual system, with various facilities even for the data itself

While some titles may remain in English by omission, any title can be translated to any language or different term within same language. Only the internal help screens remain in English. It is possible to access the same database from an icon opening an

English DCMS or an icon opening a Dutch DCMS.

RangesFiltering information is done naturally, without any system limitations. 100-999, n200-299 means everything from 100 to 999 but not 200-299.

Filtering can be done on any combination of parameters,

e.g. – on Blocks and Materials
