We are happy to invite you to a full immersion, all-inclusive 5-days training camp to be held at beautiful Lammasmae in Estonia under the supervision of our head instructor Valentin Talanov.

Our most seasoned instructors, Jérôme Kadian (Systema France), Aslan Guseynov (Systema HQ Moscow), Andreas Weitzel (Systema Germany) and Alexander Stepanov (Systema Estonia) will assist Valentin Talanov throughout the Summer Camp, and they will provide additional insight on their respective areas of expertise.

The training camp is tailored to match the needs of beginners, advanced students and instructors alike.

During this camp, participants will receive a unique training methodology, the Systema Talanov Methodology, that will help them dramatically improve their understanding of Systema and, for the more advanced students or instructors, their teaching of Systema.

One of the approaches that will notably be used throughout the camp is that of modeled real-life stress situations, for which Valentin Talanov will provide the participants with key physical and psychological skills so they can resist and survive them. Beyond addressing self-defense and personal safety per se, these skills will spectacularly improve one’s ability to preserve his/her health and quickly recover whenever he/she is exposed to very intense physical and psycho-emotional loads.

Classes will be held outdoors every day.

Before breakfast, a 1-hour session will strengthen the participants’ breathing practice and develop their flexibility and freedom of movement

The normal training regimen will be 2 sessions of 3 hours every day for 5 days (30 hours in total), completed by several night sessions.

Other activities available to the participants at Lammasmae include swimming, archery, trekking and canoeing.

Breathing Breathing is one of the fundamental things of the Systema. It gives you possibility to do different types of loads with minimal efforts, to avoid unnecessary tensions in the body. To control the psyche and emotions, which is very important, in combat work and in normal life in society. Breathing can improve the quality of all types of physical activity. Proper breathing is a powerful tool in healing practices, recovering from physical and emotional stress, as well as during rehabilitation after injuries and diseases.

Movement The movement is also a fundamental aspect. All the kinds of human activities have a limit, such as strength, speed for example. And only the movement is not limited. Therefore, in the Systema, different tasks must be solved by using of movement. It should be continuous, full and convincing. Proper movement allows you to escape from dangerous situations without damages, to avoid injury and unnecessary tensions. The movement must be always connected with the breathing, and can significantly improve a person's capacity in any work. "Movement is life" - this saying very accurately reflects the importance of this aspect in Systema.

Self-defense

In the modern world it is very important to be able to protect yourself and your loved ones. The Systema includes all known types of combat work. The punches and kicks. How to apply precise and powerful strikes. How to take the strikes. How to wrestle. To work at different levels-on the feet and on the ground. Work against one and several opponents, as well in confined spaces. Protection against various weapons-knife, stick, chain. A very important ability to control psycho-emotional state in combat situations.

Psychological aspect Very often people exposed to stress, both in everyday life and in combat and emergency situations. And very important to be able to manage psyche and emotions. Any loads on the nervous system, is immediately reflected in its physical condition, having stress on the body and internal organs, violated various processes all systems of the body. Which is turn to the limitation of ability to do anything, and to different diseases. The special complex of exercises allows you to achieve high psycho-emotional stability from a variety of stressful situations. Modeling of various situations close to reality, where humans learn to control their psyche, to overcome fears and effectively perform a different tasks.
