Watsapp group for every class & section was initiated by respective class teachers to serve the best to the students & parents. 19 th June 2017 : The school re-opened after a long break of summer vacation.All the teachers and students looked very fresh,rejuvenated with more energy to get back to work. 20 th June 2017 : All the holiday homework was collected by the class teachers .Class Prep children had made beautiful flash cards in Maths ,Class I children made decorative thermocol glasses and Class II children had made beautiful birthday caps in vacations.Creativity was seen at its best.

19th

June 2017:

The school re-opened after a long break of summer vacation.All the teachers and students

looked very fresh,rejuvenated with more energy to get back to work.

20th

June 2017:

All the holiday homework was collected by the class teachers .Class Prep children had made

beautiful flash cards in Maths ,Class I children made decorative thermocol glasses and Class

II children had made beautiful birthday caps in vacations.Creativity was seen at its best.

21st June 2017:

International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school.Yoga and meditation are the perfect way

to start one’s day.

This international Day Of Yoga ,the primary wing children did meditation and Yoga in the

assembly and were also sensitized about the importance of Yoga in our daily life.

25th

June 2017:

Revision for Evaluation-I commenced in all the classes.

ENGLISH: Learnt to find the match.

MATHS: Learnt counting through abacus.

HINDI: Akshar Dhundo,Ghar Pahuncho.

CLASS PREP

HINDI: Made new words.

EVS: Enjoyed enacting story by doing role play of different animals.

MATHS: Learnt missing numbers through an activity.

CLASS I

ENGLISH: Learnt the concept of common noun and proper noun through an activity.

HINDI: Badi ‘E’ ki matra ke shabdon ka chitra chipkao.

MATHS: Learnt through abacus with the help of different colour bindis.

EVS: Role play was done by the students of their favourite family member who inspires them

the most.

CLASS II

ENGLISH: Changed singular nouns into plural.

HINDI: Scrap book activity was done.

MATHS:Learnt addition of 2 digit numbers through abacus.

EVS: Identification of different types of food.

CLASSES III TO V

Staff Meeting 17th

June, 2017: Staff Meeting of the teachers of classes Prep-XII was held on 17

th June, 2017. The Principal

of the school welcomed all the teachers after summer vacation. He apprised the teachers

about the Board results and the number of students who had scored more than 90 in class XII

and 10 out 10 CGPA in class X. The detailed analysis of the results of X & XII was

discussed. The teachers were overwhelmed to know that Madhuri M. was topper of class XII

with 97.2 % in aggregate. The Principal of the school also apprised about the professional

results and he encouraged and appreciated students and teachers for their efforts which

helped the school to achieve the wonderful results in board exams as well as professional

examinations.

19th

June 2017:

After a long summer vacation the school re-opened on 19th

June 2017. The students and

teachers resumed their duties & work with great enthusiasm.

21st

June 2017:

Delhi Public School Vindhyanagar observed International Yoga day by organising a full-

fledged yoga session for the students on June 21st. Students of classes III-XII were part of

this mass demonstration. They were made aware of the relevance of the yoga in daily life.

Different asanas were demonstrated under the guidance of yoga instructors and the Principal

of the school. Many teachers also keenly took interest and became a part of the yoga session.

The Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The students and teachers took pledge to

spread awareness and make yoga as a part of their lives.

Investiture Ceremony (Junior Student Council) 22nd June

2017:

A special assembly was held on 22nd

June, 2017 for classes III-V. The parents of students

those have been selected as a member of Junior student council were invited to witness the

Investiture ceremony. In this wonderful assembly the parents and students were felicitated

and welcomed by the Principal. Finally the Investiture ceremony took place in which the

newly elected Junior Student Council members were given sashes and badges by the

Principal. They took oath to abide by the rules and regulations of the school and perform their

duties effectively.

June 2017: Students exhibited their talents through performing different yogasanas and on their

Class VI - VIII

19th June’17-

Welcome back! After a long summer break. Smiling faces entered the school gate and the

whitewashed walls smiled back at them. A special assembly held the students attention even

as the results of Class Xth and XIIth were declared, it being the best way to begin with.

Assuredly “A PROUD MOMENT FOR DPS (V)”.

Results of competitions held by Environment Department (NTPC V).

Around 50 students and a few teachers enthusiastically entered the competitions held by

(NTPC V) on the occasion of ‘World Environment Day’ and added feathers to the cap of

DPSV by being winners accordingly.

21st June’17-

‘International Yoga Day’ was celebrated with piety and solemnity in it. Students presented

the different postures in yoga in an extreme disciplined way. Our most honorable Principal

Sir and teachers too were a part of it as yoga has become a part and parcel of each one’s life.

Selected Participants gave a tough competition to the different houses and Ganges House and

Yamuna House made their day. The finals were a real pleasure to watch. Happy, happier and

happiest moods led the players home.

Class IX – XII

MONTH OF MAY – 2017:

DPS Vindhyanagar holding its many assignments, carefully monitored by its In-charges to

execute their duties meticulously. Dr J. Pandey, principal DPS V. with his vision of making

the school competently plying with e. technology motivated each teacher in the beginning of

new session to create his/her class’ Wats App group so that interaction could be more

substantially established with students as well as with their parents.

Holiday homework catering to the need of syllabus and other activities were sent to students

by the class coordinators.

MONTH OF JUNE – 2017:

Month of June ushers in with most awaited results of academic and competitive exams sets

the acme of every school. DPS V. Alike its other sister institutions standing on its resonant

roots affirms that quality is never an accident it is always the result of intelligent efforts.

Class 10 results declared on 3rd June 2017stunned with its striking score. The school proudly

bagged 47 dipsites as 10 CGPians out of 157 .Class 12 result, announced on 28th May 2017

stood unprecedented with 97.2% secured by Madhuri M. from Science Stream. Sparshi

Agarwal with 93.8% topped the Commerce Stream. The ascending graph towards higher

score establishes the fact that excellence is the gradual result of consistent intelligent efforts.

As a school record, it is the highest so far.

Competitive results also had marked a remarkable rise with 29 students in IIT JEE (Mains)

securing 627 marks. Here progressive visions of the Head of the Institution, Dr. J. Pandey,

Principal DPS Vindhyanagar played a pivotal role.

“WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY” in the month of April ,glorified the linguistic and

21st June 2017 (International Yoga Day):

The International Yoga Day was observed in school, not as a formal mark of celebration, but

as an elaborate form of every morning activity. The very concept of Yoga has been

manifested in each dipsite as the first prime activity in class.

On 21st June the celebration was massive and its overview wa magnificient. Physical

Education department took the lead and students demonstrators and teachers demonstrators

made the show flawless.

24th June 2017: Orientation Programme for Classes XI & XII

Since school,children and parents are tripartite union of every good educational Institution

and laying an interactive session amongst them will always be a step ahead to excellence.

Keeping this in view , school has adopted it as roll - up -tradition for every New Session .

Customary to it , on 24th

June , an Orientation Programme was conducted for classes XI-

XII. All the participant speakers from school faculty orated excellently about their assigned

topics. Discipline on the top of the agenda was prioritized and its violation on any pretext

will be consequential to suspension and termination only. Examination pattern along with

latest inclusions by CBSE was elaborately discussed by Examination Incharge , Mr Anupam

Mishra. Mrs. Ibha Pandey (PGT ENG.) resonating DPS parameters about how to be an ideal

Dipsite , vehemently addressed the parents and their wards .She solicited kind cooperation

each parent in adding graceful aura to their persona . Query Session was addressed by Mr

PVGK RAO (PGT PHYSICAL EDUCATION) that went quite significant. The final address

by the Principal was quite fulfilling and Orientation could lend a practical shape to his

visions. With a wishful note that efforts will be more filtered and poignantly pointed to even

more height in Session 2017-18 he assured to guard the career of each Dipsite.
