DNR Contracted Resources

• Region agreements dozers, meals, fallers
• Fire District Resourcespermanent staff, volunteers, equipment
• Statewide Call-When-Needed agreements kitchens, toilets, showers, aircraft
DNR ContractingFederal Agreements
• Utilize R6 Water Handling Agreement DPL (except IA)
• Utilize R6 Crew Agreement
• Honor rates for any federal agreement, but may not be able to honor conditions
DNR Pay Practices
• Collective Bargaining Agreements
• Closed Satellite Camps – need CTR documentation
• Pay period – 15th and last day of month
• Hours – straight time begins again after rest period
DNR Practices
• Driving – 10 hours per person, 16 total
• R&R - preferred between 10-14, but can be taken after incident.
• Extensions - must be signed by employee, needs to document R&R day
DNR Practices
• Out of State Assignments – do not re-assign out of state without permission
• Laundry - entitled to laundry after 5 days
• Fire Camp - all DNR employees are allowed to leave during off-duty hours
