About PGSF

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), is a not-for-profit, private, industry-directed organization that dispenses undergraduate college scholarships and graduate fellowship assistance to talented men and women interested in graphic communications careers. The mission of PGSF is “to strengthen the print and graphics industry by providing scholarship assistance.” Housed under the same roof as Printing Industries of America, the Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation has coordinated the printing industry’s largest scholarship program since its inception in 1956. Individuals, companies, and associations provide scholarship funds to PGSF, which administers the scholarship and fellowship programs for the industry.

Over 100 industry leading companies and individuals have endowed permanent scholarships at PGSF. The future of the graphic communication industry lies in the development and education of today’s students. Nearly 200 scholarships totaling approximately $400,000 are awarded each year.

To be eligible to compete for one of our scholarships, you must have the following qualifications:1. Pursuing a career in graphic communications, printing technology, printing management, or publishing.2. A high school senior or high school graduate3. A student who is enrolled in a two- or four-year accredited graphics or printing program at a technical school, college, or university in the US.4. Applicants must be a full-time student. Scholarships are not awarded for part-time or online study.5. Be able to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
