Purpose of District L.I.S.D. Cheer Program

Tryouts: Willow Springs Middle School
Rising 7th & 8th Grade “sign-up” cheerleaders will participate in a Mock Audition in March
Scores will be used as skill placement for Red and Black Teams Safety
Campus assessments will routinely occur throughout the year to identify growth and promotion to a squad with higher skills.
Tryouts: Lovejoy High School
Squads: Freshman, Junior Varsity & Varsity3 Judge Panel selected from nationally
recognized cheer companies such as NCA or UCA
100 point score sheet, cumulative scoresSquad decisions will be determined by
highest scores.Judges scoring is final.
