CREATING AN DROP-DOWN LIST

Select a column where you will “store” the answers/responses to the questions and enter the responses

Make sure to leave a row in between each set of responses.

Select the cell that you would like to insert a drop-down list. Left click on the data tab in the ribbon

Removing the protection

The cells where the drop down menus are located need to be formatted to students can interact with the data. Right click on the cells and highlight format.

Left click on the Protection tab. Make sure the box next to locked is not checked.

Changing the Color of the cells

Right click on the cell that you would like to color.

If you would like a gradient color (multi-color and three dimensional) you need to use the format menu. Right Click on the cell and highlight Format Cells.

ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR EXCEL DOCUMENT

You can add images to your excel file by simply copying and pasting or by left clicking the Insert tab.
