Double Page SpreadStages of development
I started my double page spread by
opening up InDesign with a double
page and inserting an image over
both pages that I edited using
Photoshop which I will now be using
as the main attraction and the
background together.
I then used a quote and placed in next
to my artist to anchor the image and
persuade the target audience to read
more.
The font size is 24pt, and the font style
is Eras Demi ITC
However I edited the last word by
changing the font style to Bradley Hand
ITC to make it more unique and bring
excitement to the page.
The colours used where red and white
this was partly due to the fact I wanted
to keep my house style consistent.

On the left side of my page, that was
going to be the article which
contained most of the information
so I needed a title to inform theaudience what my article would be
about. This is what I created next
that was placed at the top of the left
page to signify its importance. I used
the font style Haettenschweiler
And size 72 so it was bold clear to
the reader.
The font colours included the colour
black and white which I used
because this was the colours that
stood out from the background the
most.
I did a little research and most
magazines included some sort of
sub heading to draw in the audience
which Is what I did. I added the line
all BLISS just to add something
different. This is also why I
dramatically changed the font style
of the word Bliss just like I did with
the quote on the other side of the
page.
I used the colour yellow for the font
as this colour was very bright and it
illuminated the rest of the page.

The next stage was very importing;this was inserting my article on my
double page spread. I placed them
as columns because this made the
information look more organised
The font style used was Minion Pro
at a font size of 15 pt. which would
allow all the information to fit and
still be visible for the audience
The colours used for the information included
yellow, red, white and background which was
all used for their individual effects and
consistency of colours within the entire
magazine
This screen shot shows how I edited
the font by using a stroke level on
them to make the information stand
out from the background

The final screen shot shows me
inserting the companys website
again in which the audience is able
to find out more information about
what the article has to say. Its just
another way in which my magazine
offers different alternatives to view
information
I placed this text just under the
article because this is what its
related to and the audience can
relate to this.
The font style is the same as the
article which is Minion Pro
However the font has slightly
increased so it can draw
attention however the actual
website has a white font colour
so its noticeable
