Currencies
• Not every country uses the dollar
• Some do! Like Panama and Ecuador
• Let’s look at how we can change dollar amounts to other currencies.
If there are 500 CLP (Chilean Pesos) to the USD (US dollar), then how many pesos are in 5 dollars?
500 x 5 = 2,500 CLP
Cinco dólares vale 2,500 pesos chilenos.
If there are 4 Argentine pesos to the USD, then how many pesos are in 20 dollars?
4 x 20 = 80 Argentine pesos
Veinte dólares vale 80 pesos argentinos.
If there are 15 Mexican pesos to the USD, then how many pesos are in 3 dollars?
15 x 3 = 45 Mexican pesos
Tres dólares vale 45 pesos mexicanos.
