These exclusive peat treatments are the outcome of a joint project between Pavia University and Versilia Spa. Peat is a completely natural product of plant origin, with a brown, buttery consistency. The variety used for our treatments is of the highest possible quality, coming from the Massaciuccoli Lake basin, and formed in ancient times. Thanks to a very slow process, the organic, vegetable matter turns into peat, enormously rich

in mineral salts, vitamins, inorganic acids and natural antibiotics. The subsequent maturation in the saline-bromine waters of the Versilia Spa further enhance the beneficial effects, which include: draining, micro-circulation activation, balancing of the skin’s pH, purifying of the skin, toning and tissue revitalisation. It is especially recommended for treating cellulite, muscular tension and skin aging.

At your first appointment we will ask you to complete a short health questionnaire in order to assess the suitability of the treatment(s) requested and ensure that we respect and care for your well-being.

Pregnancy is a very special and delicate period. At Armonia Spa we provide body treatments and massages only from the 14th week of pregnancy.

You are kindly asked to arrive at the Spa 15 minutes before your appointment, so that you can take time to prepare for your treatment in a relaxed manner.

In the case of late arrival, treatments may have to be varied or shortened, in order for us to respect subsequent guests’ bookings.

Appointments cancelled between 24 and 22 hours before will be charged at 50% of the original price. In the case of cancellation up to 2 hours before or no show, the entire cost of the treatment(s) booked will be charged.

Please remove your slippers and all items of clothing before entering the sauna or Turkish bath.

Please wear your swimming costume in the Jacuzzi tub and relaxation area.

Quietness and respect for fellow guests would be appreciated in the relaxation area.

We advise you not to bring items of value with you to the Armonia Centre

Mobile phones should be switched off or kept in silent mode.

Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted to the Spa area, which includes Jacuzzi tub and saunas.
