La Rocca, a very ancient castle of Riva del Garda, despite several changes, still retains an austere and elegant feel at the same time. La Rocca is also an art gallery, with works by Pietro Ricchi, Francesco Hayez and Vincenzo Vela among others.

Cascata del Varone(4 km)The Cascata del Varone (waterfall) is a geological rarity. It is a gorge that penetrates 55 meters from the entrance, but at its highest point the gorge reaches a depth of 73 meters. The waterfall cascades 98 meters in total.
Monte Brione of Riva del Garda(3 km)Mount Brione is interesting due to its flora, which includes an incredible variety of species in a relatively small area.
Le Marmitte dei Giganti Nago(4 km)These glacial wells were formed by the fusion waters of the glacier which, falling into crevasses, caused a whirling motion of pebbles that slowly eroded the rock. The wells are located near the main scenic road overlooking the lake, which connects Nago to Torbole.
Biotopo Marocche di Dro(12 km)The area of the moraines of Dro, formed by rock fall from Monte Brento and Monte Casale (right side of the valley) and landslides sliding from the left side, has been a protected habitat for many years with its ownscenic path with stopping points where you can appreciate the natural conformation of this pristine oasis.
Bosco Caproni di Arco(7 km)An area of great environmental interest and rich historical and artistic heritage. The natural works of art that can be found here refer to the "Sculpture Park Drena 3000", a cultural event where art and nature come together in perfect harmony. You can find your own spirit amid statuary stone quarries and unspoiled nature.
Fies di Dro ex hydroelectric plant(15 km)The Fies Central is today an art factory and presents itself as a centre of "environments for creating performing arts" with a commitment to become a landmark for contemporary culture for the province of Trento and for Italy. The Drodesera FIES Festival, which for eight years has been animating the structure, hosts installations, videos, performances, meetings, workshops and exhibitions.
House of the Artists "Giacomo Vittone" of Canale di Tenno(10 km)A centre of great cultural interest situated in the picturesque medieval village of Canale. Born in the 60s from the idea of an amateur painter, Giacomo Vittone, who used to go from Riva del Garda to the village by bicycle to paint, the home of artists has subsequently become incorporated and is made up of three areas: Tenno, Riva del Garda and Arco. Its activities are divided into conferences, summer schools, accommodation for artists, school academies and institutes of art and ongoing exhibitions dedicated to the art of the masters of yesterday and today.
Village of Frapporta(10 km)The Village of Frapporta, located a few miles from Canale di Tenno, overlooks the plain below and Lake Garda. A seventeenth-century tower stands outside the walls, flanked by an ancient fountain and a Roman tomb. To enter the village you go under a large medieval ogive door, leading directly to the route for the castle, once the home of the bishop’s deputy. The intricate architecture of narrow streets testifies to the medieval origins of the village, which is further confirmed by the presence of the church of San Lorenzo, dating back to the twelfth century and an important example of Romanesque architecture.
Castle of Arco(6 km)The fortress of Arco, which was the residence of the Counts of Arco during the Middle Ages, dominates the plain of the River Sarca and can reach it through three routes that wind among the olive trees surrounding the hill. After passing the last town walls, you reachPrato della Lizza, a green meadow overlooking the territory of the Garda Trentino, dominated by the three huge walls of the Great Tower, the Prigione del Sasso and the Hall of Frescoes. At the top, the last refuge in case of siege, you can see the Renghera Tower, which, with its bell called "renga", summoned the peasants.

Designing food? In the past 15 years, design and gastronomy have broken free of their respective definitions to make possible a series of fascinating and complex experiments. This exhibition at the Mart is the first to offer a systematic consideration concerning the design of food, which is compared with the broader panorama of contemporary creativity. A broad range of designers and chefs have been invited to exhibit their work: from Bruno Munari to Giorgetto Giugiaro, Giulio Iacchetti to Alessandro Mendini, Enrico Azzimonti and Gualtiero Marchesi; and from Ferran Adrià to Juan Marì Arzak. Nor does the exhibition overlook the forms of traditional food, calibrated and perfected in terms of form and function by the recipe of time.

Garda Trentino extra virgin olive oil The most important and most common native variety is called Casaliva, a light and fruity high quality oil with a greenish-gold colour, a delicate bouquet and a hint of almond. In 1998, the Riva del Garda Department of Agriculture won the DOP (protected designation of origin) Garda Trentino by the European Community.

Rolls Royce Event June 2013The first major competitive events in the automotive world were, first of all, an opportunity to test the engines, the stability and the reliability of the cars, and usually took place from one city to another: we remember the Paris - Rouen in 1894, the 1898 Paris - Amsterdam - Paris, the Paris - Berlin in 1901, and the 1902 Paris - Vienna. But the true challenge of engine technology of the time would be played out in the Alps, the ideal ground to test cars and drivers. And here, in 1913, the grand tour of the Alps took place, from St. Moritz, through 19 passes, in the territory of Austria, Slovenia, Italy, and again St. Moritz, with the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost cars as stars.The centenary tour will be a sight to see, and these magnificent cars will make a fine show in the parking lot of our Resort from June 21st to the 23rd.
