“Healthwatch Norfolk will be hosting their Annual General Meeting and Showcase event at The Forum, on Wednesday 17 th July from 9:30am-3pm. Our focus for the event will be "The Future of the NHS & Social Care in Norfolk" and you will be able to put your questions to a panel. The panel will include the following key Health & Social Care leaders:

GRANTS

The Grant Programme for Inter Faith Week 2019 Small Grants Programme for events organised by and for young people focused around Inter Faith Week 10-17 November 2019 The Trust will be awarding small grants up to £800.00 for organisations running events or projects connected with Inter Faith Week 2019. Grants are awarded for proposals for inter-faith activities by children and young people from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and other faiths and those of no formal faith in understanding and co-operation. The age range for young people is 11-25 years. Priority will be given to projects which:

Actively involve young people in planning, running, and evaluation of the project.

Promote positive action i.e. young people from different backgrounds coming together to address shared problems like improving green spaces.

Are run by non-statutory organisations, such as youth clubs, scout/guide groups, local voluntary and community organisations.

Grants can provide part-funding. Grants are not available for converting young people to a different faith. Grants are given only to UK based organisations and are given for the agreed purposes set out in the completed grant application form. Grants are for use in accordance with the Trust’s charitable objectives. The Inter Faith Youth Trust as funder takes no responsibility for carrying out the work. GREAT YARMOUTH BOROUGH COUNCIL HOUSING OPTIONS SERVICE

Property Officer 1 x full time permanent temporary Maternity Leave post 37 HOURS PER WEEK

BAND 5: £21,074 - £23,866

We are looking for a Property Officer to work full-time for 6 months on a temporary basis within the Housing Options Team. The work as a Property Officer in the Housing Options service is to manage the Council’s temporary accommodation stock, lead in the development of private sector options for customers and the allocation of social housing. Part of this role would involve you being the first point of contact for our households in temporary accommodation so; we are looking for an applicant who has an understanding of homelessness and housing issues in the Borough. It would also be of an advantage, if you had experience of working within the private housing sector. Ideally you will have a flexible approach when dealing with a vulnerable client group. You will need to be assertive and be able to give clear instructions whilst, also having a caring and sympathetic approach to the needs of the client group. There will also be times when you will need to be persuasive of others. You will need to have the ability to be able to work under pressure and prioritise your workload in order to meet tight deadlines ensuring that you record details of conversations and inspections on our computerized records system. You will need a driving license and access to your own vehicle for work purpose.
