The weekly schedule for Taizé services will begin again on Thursday,

September 7th at 5:30 p.m. and run through May of 2018.

We have finally reached the point where we are able to begin to rebuild the website

wpcsf.org. When we are finished the site should be much more user friendly and

explain clearly who and what Westminster Presbyterian Church PCUSA is.

The GREAT NEWS is that once again you can find "el Semanario" on the website,

beginning with last week's edition (which was mistakenly labeled 7/23/17). To do

that all you have to do is to go to the el Semanario page on the website.

Check out what has been done so far. We welcome your input on how best to

improve our website so more people will use it. We would especially welcome

some testimonials about what makes Westminster special for you.

Please pray for these members and friends of our congregation: Cindy Piatt’s friend,Reverend Pam Normille, working through a serious recurrence of cancer; for comfort andjoy for Elizabeth Roghair’s mother, Elizabeth Byer in Lancaster, PA; Carol, a friend ofGeorgia Ortiz, who is undergoing cancer surgery; Loyda Aja’s brother-in-law, PepeAntonio, recovering from a major stroke in Spain; Jonathan Sayago, a friend of the Ajas, diagnosed with a brain tumor; for David Hinds, friend of the Ajas, with terminal cancer, and for his young family; for Libby Naranjo’s friend, Carmen Burciaga whose son,Antonio Flores, is in a coma from a motorcycle accident; Elizabeth Roghair, as shecontinues to recover from hip surgery; for Jim Elliot’s son Stephan, and his family inIsrael; Bob and Phyllis, friends of Rod Sewell, both fighting cancer; John Burnett and hiswife, Desiree, as he recovers at home;Michael Brinegar’s co-worker, Andy Brasher, recovering from surgery for a brain tumor, and his young family; Bill Taylor’s mother-in-law, and brother-in-law, both fighting illness; for Carmen Chavez’s family members;continued prayer for Jackie Tway’s mother, Jo West; James Case, friend of the Twayfamily, who is undergoing further surgery and cancer treatments; Erika Roth, recoveringfrom cancer treatments;Margi Coxwell’s friend, Doug, recovering from surgery; GabrielHanson, dealing with several issues;Margarita Lopez, FPC member; Brian Garcia, whois awaiting a kidney transplant;Marian Goad; Dotti Tryk; Andy Thorne; Kim Sewell;Bob Miles; Kevin Hart; Margi Coxwell’s brother, Loren Jacobson; Candace Stebbins;Robert McDonald; Margaret Walsh; Juanita Sandoval; Joe Dudziak; Ruth Ortega;Beverly Garrett; Suzanne Dreith; Mario Gonzales; Jan Chesnut's sister and family inDamascus, Syria; and the staff and congregations of the Reformed Presbyterian Church ofCuba.

May those who have suffered the loss of a loved one find comfort and peace no matter howlong ago the loss occurred. Our life here is but for a time, it is in passing that we are trulyreborn.

Please note: we will keep names on the prayer list for as long as wanted. If you knowof others in our midst who are in need of prayers, please contact Rev. Tony Aja or thechurch office. We also want to hear your good news and joys: marriages, children, graduations, retirements, or new jobs.
