Ensemble “Le Muse”

The soloists of Rondò Veneziano

“Le Muse” are an instrumental female Ensemble composed of musicians that

developed their career inside the famous group “Rondò Veneziano”.

In the project “Musiche da Oscar” the ensemble is composed of classical musicians so

that the sonority of the original themes proposed during the concert is represented in the

best way, and a vocalist – Angelica Depaoli – who sings the vocal parts.

The ensemble is conducted by Master Andrea Albertini.

The repertoire proposed by “Le Muse” has been selected among the rich production

of Master Morricone, choosing some of the best known soundtracks from the '60s up to

nowadays, including the soundtrack that won the Academy Award in 2016.

Each song is presented by Master Albertini and is enriched with anecdotes, curiosities,

historical and biographical notes.

The film clips and photos showed during the concert add a magic atmosphere.

The concert has been performed for the first time

in may 2016, right after Master Maestro Ennio

Morricone recived the “Academy Award.

This concert had more then 40 repeat

performances.

CONCERT ACTIVITY OF THE ENSEMBLE

The ensemble “Le Muse” has

performed in many italian and

european theaters.

In November 2013 the group opened

the concert season at “Teatro degli

Emiliani” in Genoa and had been

acclaimed by the critics.

In 2014 the ensemble had been chosen

for the opening of the new home office

of UBS in Chiasso – Switzerland.

In July 2015 they opened the semester

of the italian presidency in the

European Community with two

concerts, at the Auditorium of the

Conservatory of Ankara and at Palazzo Venezia in Istanbul.

In 2016 “Le Muse” took part into two important events: a tribute concert to the Italian poet Giovanni

Pascoli, with the soprano Linda Campanella and the tenor Ignacio Encina at “Casa Pascoli” in

Tuscany, with readings of the actress Pamela Villoresi and the actor Alessandro Bertolucci.

A concert at the 40th International Festival “Musica in Villa” at Villa Cagnola – one of the

most prestigious festivals in Europe.

In January 2017, the Ensemble gave this concert at "Théâtre des Variétés" of Montecarlo

(France), in collaboration with the "Dante Alighieri Committee of Monaco", reciving a final

standing ovation.

At the end of may the Ensemble had the honor to be invited to perform for “Consulate General of

Italy in Valona”, Albania, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Republic Day.

In June the Ensemble held a concert at Venaria Reggia (TO) at the "Sant'Anna Charity Golf

Challenge"

In October 24th, ’17, the Ensemble performed in Rabat - Morocco - at the “Mohammed V

National Theater” on behalf of the Italian Cultural Institute. Sold out with over 1500 people.

In august ’18 the Ensemble performed in the Festival “Estate Musicale Dianese”

with the presence of Susanna Rigacci, the official voice of Ennio Morricone

Also in August, the Ensemble held a great concert at the “Teatro Ariston” in Sanremo

In September the Ensemble was invited by the Italian Embassy in Bangkok to do a concert for the

inauguration of the “Bangkok Film Festival 2018”
