WHICH INSTITUTION WOULD MAKE YOUR FILM?

Began in 1966.Started as a group of friends artists and musicians living

around Kent. Working cheap S-VHS and Hi-8 consumer camcorders and

editing tape to tape the group made a wide range of largely experimental films and videos on zero-budgets.

Coffee Films is a well established British independent film production company which has screened worldwide.

HISTORY OF THE INSTITUTION

The changing logo over the years.

Coffee Films makes films from a wide range of genres: experimental, arthouse, thriller, documentary, black comedy and drama,

They pride themselves on being able to make films on a low budget and so I think this company would be perfect for our Thriller as they are open to new experimental ideas and they have made thrillers in the past.

Additionally, one of their main three primary areas of filmmaking currently is thrillers.

WHY WOULD YOUR COMPANY MAKE YOUR FILM?

WHAT OTHER FILMS HAVE THEY MADE?

“more than anything we aspire to be creators of ambitious, high quality independent films that tell remarkable, engaging and character driven stories.”

I think that our thriller perfectly suits the ethos of this institution as our story is based on engaging characters and we have an engaging plot line.

The company’s website is particularly effective in marketing films as it is laid out so that you can click a link to watch a video that

interests you and they contain director’s notes on each of the things they have made.
