INNOVATIA
The event INNOVATIA was conducted on the 29th & 30th of September, 2017 in Pune Institute of Computer Technology(PICT).Being the first event to be conducted under Entrepreneurship Development Cell(EDC), the occasion witnessed profound alumni and current founders and co-founders of IT industry. The ceremony was graced by Dr. P.T. Kulkarni,Principal,PICT and Dr. Rajesh Ingle, Head PICT EDC . An overwhelming number of students from the college participated in the event.
The ceremony started off with lighting the lamp by the entrepreneurs of our college at
12.30pm and was followed by Dr. Rajesh Ingle, and each of the founder sharing their
words of wisdom.
CHIEF GUEST
Vijay Mangeshkar, Experienced Assistant Vice President at BARCLAYS
INVESTMENT BANK with a demonstrated history of working in the financial
services industry. Skilled in Governance, Risk and Compliance. Strong program
and project management professional with a Regulatory and Audit experience.
MAIN EVENTS
The main events under INNOVATIA were:
TEXHOVIA:
It is an event where the participants have to present their innovative ideas
regarding technical or social interest.
The participants also need to elaborate how their ideas will make a
socio-innovative change in the society.

TEXHOVIA was the most attractive event of all and which gave the
participants a chance to present their ideas on stage.

Total Participants: 42 Groups (group of 3-4).
STOCK HEDGE
It is also known as virtual trending market which provides as economy
where the issuing and trading of equities, bonds and other sort of securities
take place either through formal or over-the-counter market along with the
provision of companies with free access to in exchange for giving investors a
cake of ownership.

It is a mind game, where we need to test ourselves and assess our growth in
knowledge, abilities or skills. It also helps in the identification of our SWOT
analysis.

Event Judge: Yash and Sameer.

B-BUZZ
It is a creative and dynamic activity which would stimulate reflexive and
practical thinking also, give a chance to help each individual strategize their
oral and think process to help them portray their perspective and critical
views on a particular topic.

CODICTION
It is defined as economic environment where the person can enjoy
exploring the intricacies of programmable systems and stretching their
capabilities by modifying or altering the codes in the computer software by
discovering the codes in order to crack the information.

INTERN-FAIR
ED-CELL, PICT is glad to announce its new initiative, “INTERNSHIP FAIR”.
We at EDC intend to bridge the gap between the talented pool of student interns
and companies through an Internship Fair. This program gives opportunity to
the students and many youngsters to get familiar with the industrial
environment.
