organized Friendly Interaction with proud Alumni of 2013 Batch on “Awareness and off

campus reality after Pass out!” under Departmental Alumni Activity Mr. Kausthobh Deshkar

Infosys, Pune & Mr. Rahul Gandhare KPIT. Pune on 4th Feb 2017 Saturday for 6th SEM and 4th

Sem ETRX students. The talk was started with wireless awareness and real challenges faced by

freshers and Opportunities and availability of course for easy placement. Prof. N. P. Wyawahare

was the coordinator for this activity.

Machine Interface under COE BMI & HMI with students forum Zenith & IEEE student branch on

15 February 2017. Around 45 students from ETRX & IT department participated in the workshop.

Workshop started at 10AM with Introduction to BMI & HMI by Dr. S. D. Giripunje which is

followed by theory sessions in the same area by Prof. N. P. Wyavahare, Prof. R. S. Agrawal &

Prof. T. G. Deotale. In afternoon Session Hands on Matlab based development tool with case

study, LabView & on controller / EEG based system development was given to students by Prof.

S. N. Joshi, Prof. P. M. Ghutke & Prof. S. V. Bhalerao. Students had participated enthusiastically

in the workshop & had discussion on various topics related to their project in this area. Workshop

Electronics Department of G.H.Raisoni College of Engineering organized guest lecture of Mr.

Manmath Deshpande, owner of Aptitude Development Centre, from Nagpur region on 'VEDIC

MATHEMATICS', for the 6th

Sem Electronics Engg. students', on 4th

march 2017.

Mr. Deshpande, is an expert in training students in Mathematics, Reasoning, Communication,

etc. He began by giving a brief introduction on Vedic Mathematics along with some examples

and also covered basics of multiplication of two and three digit numbers.

In the one hour session, he motivated and guided students' regarding their higher education. As

this basic fundamentals where very much required for aptitude and CRT. The students'

appreciated the initiative taken by the Dept. in organizing the lecture. The vote of thanks was

proposed by Prof. A.Tete coordinated in organizing the session.
