5TH ANNUAL SUNCOAST ORIENTEERING EVENT Starts between 10am to noon at the Legacy Trail Parking Area. All participants must report back from their course by 3pm. Five different length courses including an instructional one mile ‘map hike’ course for people to learn about map and compass and land navigation It’s also a great way to help the kids become familiar with the outdoors. For those who prefer their recreation a little more competitive, choose one of the other courses from two to seven miles in length and from novice to expert in difficulty. Maps will be supplied. GUIDED PADDLE (OR WALK) Paddle along South Creek and learn about the park and the estuarine
critters. Please register between 8:00am and 8:45am at the Ranger
Station. May bring own vessel or rent one from the park. Some
paddling experience recommended as it is a group tour. Note: South
Creek is a tidal water therefore if water is too shallow for a paddle a
walk will be offered instead.

GUIDED NIGHT PADDLE Take a paddle up South Creek under the moonlight. Experienced paddlers

taken by phone. Start times are listed as thirty minutes prior to sunset to
allow time to get safely onto the water.
