Luxalon® Exterior Ceiling Systems have proven extremely

durable for more than forty years; developed with

surface-treated panels and a wind resistant suspension

system, they stand up to the harshest conditions.

Luxalon Exterior Ceiling Systems create new opportunities

for expressive architecture and add beauty and durability

to any building. Available in linear, modular or curved

configurations with factory run-to-length panels, these

soffits can be engineered to meet the design demands

and performance requirements of your project.

Architects and designers worldwide appreciate the

strength of Luxalon and have specified these systems

in prestigious locations including airports, railway

stations, office buildings, shopping malls and hotels.

From Design to Delivery.

PROTECTED BY LUXACOTE ®

Luxacote is a special high performance paint finish forLuxalon® Exterior Ceiling Systems. Proprietary HunterDouglas’ Luxacote makes exterior ceilings extremelydurable, providing color and gloss stability, high scratchand corrosion resistance. With Luxacote, there is no need to recoat, which reduces maintenance costs andadditional environmental impact.

Luxacote protects the aluminum surface from corrosionand bonds the paint to the metal surface for lasting durability. It contains only color-stable pigments for optimalcolor-fastness and a highly scratch- and wear-resistantsurface. Luxacote also filters UV light to provide extracolor and gloss durability. Luxacote provides excellentmechanical properties and is therefore suitable for fabrication processes in which the material is subject to the most severe stresses.

The Luxacote finish is an alternative to high performancePVDF paint finishes.

Luxacote was developed to provide corrosion protection and color stability using the following three step coating process:

• Anorcoat – to ensure maximum paint adhesion to the aluminum substrate and to protect the metal surface against corrosion.

• Color coat – only color stable pigments are used to ensure optimal color-fastness

• Topcoat – a transparent coating containing a UV filter provides extra color and gloss durability – a highly scratch- and wear-resistant surface.

The 84R and 84G systems are known for their attractive,

fluid lines. Usually applied in straight linear configurations,

our panels can also be curved (as shown above).

Appropriate for interior and exterior locations, both

systems can make a dramatic statement, soften

conventional corners, or create sophisticated transitions.

Protected by our patented Luxacote® finish, these

Exterior Ceiling Systems will stand the test of time and
