7. An observation was raised by Hon. Odeefuo Boa-Amponsem regarding the absence of :!~:esentation from the Central Region on the Committee of Selection. Mr. S'peaker and other E:.n. Members explained that the omission was inadvertent.

8. At five minutes before Six o'clock in the afternoon the adjournment was moved by O::eduo Boa-Amponsem.

The Assembly met at Ten Minutes to Twelve o'clock a.m. Pmyers were read.

3. Mr. Speaker informed the House about the progress made by the Co=ittee of Selec­tion and decided to suspend the sitting of the House.

4. Hon. Ato Ampiah craved the indulgence of Mr. Speaker and made suggestions as regards the composition of the Standing Committees and sub-committees. He advocated for the increase in the number of the membership for the "Legal and Drafting Committee to 30. The suggestion was supported by Hon. Gloria Graham. The m')ve by Hon. Ato Ampiah to formaJly move a Motion in that regard was not accepted.

5. Sitting was suspended at 3.05 p.m. and resumed at 3.40 p.m.

6. Mr. Speaker informed the house about lack of some physic~l facilities which would have helped the Committee of Selection to finish its assignment. He announced also that some Hon. Members had still not submitted their Questionnaire to the Co=ittee of Selection.

7. In the face of those handicaps, the House was adjourned at Seven Minutes before Four o'clock in the afternoon till Friday, 30th August, 1991 at Eleven o'clock in the forenoon.
