Fashion !The Product.....

Fashion is a specialized form of body adornment. The product is the uses of garments of utility, modesty, immodesty (sexual at-tractions) adornment, styles and trends. Symbolic differentiation, social affiliation, psychological, self enhancement and moderism. Fashion products include goods that are performed. The fashion industry is comprised; there are different levels of construction and levels of details Haute Couture being at the top of the fashion products pyramid- the desire of fasion is built from Couture, Cou-ture is real art of fashion telling a storey through designs, produc-ing top end shows to display such garments Haute Couture is a french phase for high end fashion, Couture means dressmaking (seamstress) and haute means elegance or high, both combined implies excellent artistry.Couture refers to the creation of exclusive custom fitted clothing, made to order for a specific customer- Couture garments are made with the highest qualities, expensive fabrics with extrene attention all hand crafted, lika a piece of art work. They are unique gar-ments and when measured to fit-fit perfectly to the specific clients shape.Couture designing creates an effect of selling a dream of the intangible dream of chic cachet of beauty, desirability and exclu-siveness that the ordinary person can not buy into, quite avant guarde garments - leaving you with the desire to want more.

Ready to wear pret a porter(off the rack)- ready to wear products come under Couture on the fashion pyramid-such ready to wear collections of high end fashion are usually presented by fashion houses each season during a period known as Fashion week. This takes place on a city wide basis- most prominent of these are London, New York, Milan and Paris. Designers produceready to wear cloth-ing intented to be worn without significant altera-tion; clothing made to standard sizes to fit most people. factory made clothing use standard pat-terns, factory equiptment and faster construction techniques- which makes ready to wear collections cheaper to produce(more profit). Some Designers offer garments that are not as unique as one offs but are produced in limited numbers.Ready to wear clothing is more practical, informal and affordable. there are different levels of ready to wear collections, top high end brands produc-ing shows and low end collections to a lower class market, without using shows but keeping collection product development limited.

High street- and mass market clothing are at the bottom of the bottom of the constructions in the fashion industry. High street is not what fashion is about. The last end of high street fashion started two years prior in high end fashion shows. the high street turn around is three months after the shows. High street fashion is trying to re-invent high end designers creations but at a much cheaper price, which is holding some high qualitie designers col-lections back(for most people in society its easier to go with the cheaper garments-whch are not as good qualities).Mass produced things are of lower quality and they are usually a lot of same thing produced in industrial sizes. High street and mass produced goods are widely available. On line- An even higher profitable business is the on line retail business- which skips out the wholesaler and no middle man with direct selling means greater profits. Things are changing to meet requirements and needs of shoppers, its all about the money. All main retail stores also have on line facilities and ther is even companies who only sell through websites/on line.
