born of the Father before all ages.

God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;through him all things were made.

For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third dayin accordance with the Scriptures.

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the deadand his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sinsand I look forward to the resurrection of the deadand the life of the world to come. Amen.

He descended into hell;on the third day He rose again from the dead;

Page 5: Fifth unday of aster - resurrectionadw.org

He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Preparation of the Gifts: The Call, by Ralph Vaughan Williamstext by George Herbert, arranged by Allen Percival

Come, my Way, my Truth, my Life: Such a Way, as gives us breath: Such a Truth, as ends all strife: Such a Life, as killeth death.

Come, my Light, my Feast, my strength: Such a light, as shows a Feast: Such a Feast, as mends in length: Such a strength, as makes his guest.

Come, my Joy, my Love, my Heart: Such a Joy, as none can move:Such a Love, as none can part: Such a Heart, as joys in love.

Eucharistic Acclamations: from Mass for the City, by Richard Proulx Holy, Holy, Holy Memorial Acclamation Great Amen

Lamb of God: setting by David Isele

Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Communion Hymn: Luke 1:46-55, Proclaim the Greatness of God, setting by James Chepponis

R./ Proclaim the greatness of God; rejoice in God, my Savior! Rejoice in God, my Savior!

For he has favored his lowly one, and all shall call me blessed. The almighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name. R./

He favors those who fear his name, in ev’ry generation. He has shown the might and strength of his arm, and scattered the proud of heart. R./

He has cast the mighty from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly. He has filled the hungry with all good gifts, and sent the rich away. R./
