Hello to all of my Clients, Friends, Horse & Art Lovers,

The dog days of summer are on their way out, school is back in session (or soon will be), andvacations have been taken. I am always thrilled when the Football pre-season starts, as itmeans that the fiercest of the summer heat is almost over here in broiling Arizona. Woo hoo for that! I'm looking forward to the fall, but now I really have to get busy creatingnew work for my upcoming shows.

First, I'd like to thank the newest collectors of my artwork. Thank you for your purchaseand I am thrilled that you fancied my work for your homes.

Also a big welcome to everyone who recently subscribed to my e-newsletter. Thankyou and I hope you find them interesting.

And hello to all of the new friends I made at the Varian Arabians Summer Jubilee. It was greatto meet you.

The Varian Event was truly wonderful, beyond anything I had expected. Being around all ofthose gorgeous horses really stirred my imagination.I also took hundreds of photos which I will use in future paintings. I can't wait to get started onthem.

Here are a couple of the photos of me with some new horse friends I made at the event. Theywere taken on the Mare Walk, where about 80 of us went out into a huge field and the mareswith their foals just calmly and with no fear ambled up to us for scratches, hugs & kisses. Itwas enchanting! You can see in the last photo that the kids that were there were having the times of their lives.

*******************************************************************Here's a quick recipe for a refreshing, light Summer Fruit Punch, just perfect for enjoying whilekicking back and enjoying the last of the summer days. You can add alcohol if you desire, but it's also delicious without.2 cups diced stone fruit (apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines)2 cups apricot juice2 cups sparkling wine1 cup seltzerCombine diced fruit, apricot juice, sparkling wine and seltzer. Divide among 4 ice-filled glasses. _Non-alcoholic version: Substitute sparkling cider for the wine.

Makes 4 servings ENJOY!!!
