FORTHESTUDENTS
Dear Students:
I know we have more than a few weeks before our class, MBA 671, will begin. However, I wanted to introduce myself as your instructor for this class, that I am looking forward to meeting you and that I am very happy to be part of your program.
With that in mind, I would like each of you to prepare two things for me before our class begins.
First, I would like you to prepare a statement/paragraph of what you believe Strategic Management is. Do this in your own words and not a text book answer. If you give some examples, great. We will discuss your statements at our very first class.
And second, I would like you to prepare for me what your objectives are in taking this class. That is, at the end of our class session, what do you hope to achieve, accomplish, learn. I would like you to turn in these objectives to me at our first class, in English, please. So until we meet, I hope things are well, and if you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely.
