First Friday Eucharistic Adoration

St. Roch Church will be open for Eucharistic Adora-

tion on every first Friday of the month from 9am—

3pm. Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3pm. Every 2nd,

3rd, and 4th Friday we invite you to join our oratory

group to pray before the blessed sacrament for priests.

Baptisms

Baptisms are held on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00

PM and 2:00 PM in both churches. If you would like to

schedule a baptism, please call the rectory. New par-

ents are required to attend one Baptism class on the

first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Our next class

will be held Mon., June 5 at 7pm in the St. Roch rec-

tory.

Register If you would like to register with the parish, please

call the rectory on weekdays between 9am—3:30pm.

We can register you right over the telephone. Spon-

sor letters for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confir-

mation are only issued to registered members of the

parish.

Wedding

To arrange a wedding at St. Adalbert/St. Roch Parish,

consult with a priest at least six months prior to the pro-

posed date and before social arrangements. Attendance

at Pre-Cana and Natural Family Planning Classes is

required.

Anointing of the Sick

Communion to the Homebound

Please notify the Parish Office when serious illness

occurs or when the sick, aged, or incapacitated are

confined to home for an extended period. Arrange-

ments can be made to bring communion to those un-

able to attend Mass. Please contact Parish Office at #

brought into the Catholic Church. If you

have never been baptized, confirmed, or re-

ceived First Holy Communion, or if you are

May Crowning: There will be a May Crowning

ceremony during the 9:30am Mass on Sunday, May

14 at St. Roch Church. There will also be a May

Crowning ceremony on Monday, May 15 at 12pm in

the St Adalbert Grotto. Please join us as we crown

our Blessed Mother Mary.

Food Pantry: Our food pantry is open on the second

Tuesday of every month. If you need assistance

please come to the rectory at 602 Port Richmond

Avenue on Tuesday, May 9 from 4pm—5pm.

2017 Cardinal’s Appeal: If you have not made a do-

nation this year, please consider participating in the

2017 Appeal.

Mother’s Day Novena: If you would like to remem-

ber or honor a special mother in your life by enrolling

her in the Mother’s Day Novena, please fill out one

our Spiritual Bouquet cards and return it before May

12. The names of the enrolled will be placed on the

altar and remembered in nine days of prayer begin-

ning on Mother’s Day.

Carmelites: The Carmelites will meet for formation and

mass on Saturday, May 20 at St. Adalbert Church and rec-

tory.

Honoring Our Veterans: St Adalbert School will honor

our veterans with an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, May

23 at 12pm. Reservations are required.

Vendors Wanted: We are looking for vendors for our

parish Christmas Fair to be held on Sat, Nov 11 from

10am—6pm in the Parish Hall. $30 per table. Please call

the rectory for more information.

Unción de los Enfermos Comunión con el Home-
