The following slides introduce how to set up a Personal Display with a FRONIUS IG inverter.

Please note that each slide is provided with sound. Please switch on your loudspeakers and press any

key to proceed.

3. Remove the face plate. Take care to safely unplug the ribbon cable attaching the faceplate to the inverter.

1. Turn off the AC and DC disconnect switches.

2. Remove the 4 screws on each corner of the face plate.

4. Caution: Beware of static discharge. Only touch the Personal Display Card on the component-free side. Insert the card into the OPTION 1 or OPTION 2 slot.

5. Be sure that the card is securely plugged in the plug-and-play slot.

6. Connect the antenna cable plug into the Personal Display Card´s antenna port.

7. FRONIUS recommends mounting the antenna with the bracket on the inverter as shown.

8. Connect the ribbon cable from the faceplate to the inverter.

9. Fix the faceplate to the inverter with the 4 corner screws.

10. Turn on the AC and DC disconnect switches.

These steps are performed on the FRONIUS IG´s LCD.

The Inverter settings are complete. Please go to the FRONIUS IG Personal Display.

When the inverter is found, the Personal Display will automatically add the inverter to its catalogue. Thisis called the HANDSHAKE. Be sure that your inverter is addressed with any number from 01 to 15.
