The SHINE UNIVERSITY concentrate socio-economically backward and educationally

disvantaged group of tribal’s/urban/rural such us women, men and youth, employed, self-

employed, neo-literates, prospective workers and unemployed youth. Priority is to be given to

adult neo-literates, ST, SC and reserves 15% seats for Poor, Backward Classes, Armed Forces

Personnel, War Widow Children, Physically Handicapped, and Slum Children in each stream for

admission. A 10% discount on fee is also permissible to them subject to verification of relevant

documentary proof, also offers scholarship of 50% fee waiver to meritorious and poor students

and decision to this effect strictly rests on the management.

Admission Procedure:

1. Prospectus and Application for various courses may be obtained from Admission Office.

2. All the applications duly filled in, should be sent either by Registered Post or can be handed over in person at the office or online and should be enclosed with:

a. Three Passport Size photographs & one stamp size photo of the applicant.

b. Attested photocopy of:

i) Mark Sheet of the qualifying examination or equivalent.

ii) Provisional Pass Certificate/ Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination.

iii) Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate of the qualifying examination.

iv) Community Certificate.

3. Any other document required by the individual institutions.

Foreign students must also submit

i) No objection Certificate.

ii) Eligibility Certificate from the respective Institution.

4. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

5. Interview Cards will be sent to those applicants who are provisionally selected. Failure to attend the interview on the specified date will result in the cancellation of the provisional selection.

6. Admission for all the courses is based on Eligibility criteria.

7. The selected candidates should report to the Principal on the specified date and time with all the original certificates.

8. Candidate and his/her parent/guardian should submit a declaration in the prescribed form at the time of admission.

9. After admission, if any student wishes to discontinue the course, he/she shall pay the fee payable for his/ her course of study, before being relieved from the college.

10. Fee once paid by the student will not be refunded under any circumstance. The admitted student should obey the rules and regulations, and the college reserves the right to dismiss a student in case of disobedience.
