A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Elaine O'Hara, whose body was found in the Dublin mountains last month.The 36-year-old childcare worker had been missing for over a year.Detectives investigating her murder this morning arrested a man at the home he shares with his wife and two children in Foxrock, Co Dublin.Gardaí have been searching the house throughout the day, and have removed two cars, along with computers, phones and other material for detailed forensic examination.Ms O'Hara went missing in August last year. She was last seen close to the footbridge that crosses the railway at Shanganagh Park, Shankill.Her car was subsequently found nearby at Shanganagh Cemetery.Her skeletal remains were discovered in the Dublin mountains last month by a person out walking a dog.The discovery of personal items at the scene and at a reservoir in Roundwood in Co Wicklow led gardaí to believe she had suffered a violent death.Her mobile phone was also recovered from the water.This morning's arrest is the result of an intensive garda investigation.CCTV footage was gathered, several people were interviewed and Ms O’Hara’s phone and laptop were examined to establish a list of people she had been in contact with.
