University Health and Safety Policy General statement
It is the policy of the University to ensure the health and safety of all its staff and students at work in a reasonable and practicable manner. Such duty of care is extended to cover those people using the University premises. Our safety standard would not be set only up to statutory requirements which were merely a set of minimum standards but also aim at international safety standards. All our staff must act positively to enhance further the health and safety aspects of ones own operations.
Please check with your supervisor on details of your departmental health and safety policy.
