Properly protecting gutters protects a home from the risk of major water damage (rotted wood, mildew, insects, cracked foundations, etc.)
“Gutter Protection” and “Leaf protection” do not mean the same thing
Gutters are really part of a system to direct water away from the house. The roof and gutters are integrated to act as the home’s water management system.
4
Keeping gutters from getting clogged with leaves is important, but covering a gutter may compromise its ability to control water, and may contribute to costly damages to the home in the other seasons of the year.
Excellent gutter protection requires All-Season performance, preventing gutter clogging in the fall, bearing snow and ice loading in the winter, managing rainfall in the spring, securing the system against wind loads, and providing UV protection in the summer.
The roof, the gutters, and the protection system must work together
as an integrated system.

6
When choosing Gutter Protection, keep these 4 points in mind
1. Are you purchasing a system that will protect your home 365/24/7?
2. Is it beautiful – does it add aesthetic appeal to your home?
3. Was it designed as an integrated system; meaning with it work with your roofline and current gutters?
4. Does it install easily with no visible screws that will damage and void the warranty?
I am going to show you several different products to illustrate why GutterGRIP® is the only system that meets these criteria.

Choosing the right product is essential to
protecting your home

First-Shingle Unsupported
ProtectionFirst-Shingle unsupported gutter protection is the only slightly more evolved than the first plastic or aluminum covers and screens. They have a multi-tiered cap, but still lack structural support and can ultimately damage your roof.
Lack of support:•Weight of ice and snow can damage the cover•Wind can lift up the cover causing damage to entire system
Ice damming:•Wood rot•Mold problems•Interior damage
Water overflow:•Less space for water adhesion
Makeshift end caps:•Made out of scrap at the job site•Unsightly addition to your home
